Re: Guitarists help
For starters the guitar: look at ESP, Schecter or Ibanez. Extremely good for value, well made and easy to play. Obviously a 7/8 string is preferable but get a 6 string set up in drop A or something and you should be good to go.
Amps: on a budget check out the Line 6 Spider range. They're pretty cheap and cheerful and the digital effects are quite decent. If you're looking at an actual stack, the Engl Invader 150 is pretty much the djent stock. Get a decent cab like an Orange/Peavey/Blackstar etc.
Pedalboard: look for noise reduction, chromatic tuner, maybe a distortion pedal, compressor/sustainer. The usual really. The main thing to keep in mind is your EQ when you're looking for that "djent" tone. Heavy on trebles and mids with a slight bass boost.
Hope this helps.

Haha, unfortunately Djent will be quite challenging for you to play for a while. It does call for some more advanced techniques on guitar. But there's no harm in trying
